Took this picture just outside our house. I probably should have been more careful with my curves adjustment seeing the red is a little blown out in some places.
Edit: The noticeable sharpness is a result of the Bicubic Sharper setting I used in Photoshop to scale the image. Not sure whether it’s better than just using the default Bicubic or not.

Oh thanks for your comment Ben, for some strange reason I didn’t get any notification when it was posted. Will have to check my spam folder. Glad you like the photo anyway, am just about to post some new photos. I usually take heaps on the weekend then trickle them out on Sunday, Monday & Tuesday.
Here in France, this variety of geranium is called “roi des balcons”… the dark background works well here, highlighting the red petals. Good work on this macro.
