Ok of course that isn’t the real name of this beautiful little (2cm across) flower, but I can’t help thinking that the spots make it look Tigerish. Originally I thought of the flowers looking like Leopards because of the spots but then realised that they look more like Tiger colouring (even though Tigers are striped instead). I took this photo at the Mt Archer State School grounds in Rockhampton.

Nice strong colours and a good dof Jylan. I have a birding buddy, that I email a lot, and also post comments on his pictures, and it is spooky the number of time we contact each other simultaneously. Dare I mention that tigers have stripes…lol…but I know what you mean….Alan
Yes coincidences do seem spooky… Forgot that Tigers have stripes instead, was thinking of Leopards originally but thought that a tiger has much deeper and brighter colouring. Anyway have updated the description.
