Beetroot is a purple coloured plant that grows like a potato, in that it has the main part (a purple circle) growing underground. The difference is, of course, is that beetroot has leaves that grow on top. Anyway, this picture is the 1st of 6 pictures that I took today in the garden, after 1 inch of rain. Enjoy them!
