pigface fruit

Found at Corio Bay, this beach dwelling plant has a strange nickname, pigface. The fruit tastes a bit salty, with a nice flavour, and the leaf juice can be used to treat bites and stings. On a different note, an excellent book has recently come out in my area called Plants of Capricornia, which is about 580 pages thick. Therefore I've decided to give you the latin name for the plant. It comes from the family Aizoacea, and is a Carpobrotus glaucescens.

It's my first time writing down the latin name for a plant so please let me know if I wrote it down wrong.
